WHAT IS PADEL?
Padel is a racket sport that combines elements of tennis and squash. Here are the key points about padel:
Court
Smaller than a tennis court, enclosed by glass and metal mesh walls.
Players
Typically played in doubles, with two players on each team.
Racket
Solid, perforated, and without strings.
Serve
Underhand serve, with the ball bouncing before being hit.
Ball
Similar to a tennis ball but with slightly less pressure.
Walls
Players can use the walls surrounding the court for rebounds.
Scoring
Follows the same scoring system as tennis.
Rules
Points are won by hitting the ball over the net into the opponent's court, following similar rules to tennis but with the addition of wall play.
