What’s the reason for padel’s popularity?
Simplicity
Padel has mostly become popular because of its simplicity. It is effortless to learn for players of all ages and skills. And if you have ever played or even tried other racket sports such as tennis or squash or badminton before, it will take you just some moments to get a touch of the game. Compared to tennis, it is not as technically demanding and much quicker and easier to pick up. Hence, as a player you are more motivated to play and can enjoy the game from the very beginning.
The Social Aspect
Padel is so popular because of the social aspect of the game, players get to meet a lot of different people and make new friends while playing a great sport. If you join a padel club, then you will meet a lot of new people. The sport is played in doubles, which means every time you play, you are playing with 3 other people. Say you play 30 times, with different people, then that is 90 new people that you have met just through the sport of padel.
People enjoy it because they make friends, increase their confidence and social skills.
The social aspect is increased due to:

Uniqueness
Although the scoring system and rules of padel are the same as in tennis, the game concept is different. The uniqueness of the padel means that the players are allowed to use the glass walls around the court to return the ball and keep playing the point! The possibility to keep playing the point after the ball has hit a wall glass gives the game a different meaning. There are different looks of courts, Panorama Fencing system combines a great view with a minimalist design where glass panel connections are without vertical steel posts. Standard Fencing system has a more classic and straightforward design.
